美國西雅圖華文學校創設於１９６６年﹐為非政治﹑非宗教﹑非營利﹐完全自己自足的華文教育團體﹐多年來在全體師生共同參與精神的培育中﹐秉承提供完善教學的辦學理念及教育理想﹐同時也肩負海外發揚中華文化的使命下﹐為大西雅圖的社區人士提供優良的中華語文及中華文化的教學模式。
Seattle Chinese School (SCS) was founded in 1966. The SCS is a self-supporting, non-profit organization. Its purpose is to enhance the education of the Chinese language and culture for overseas Chinese. Through its years of existence, the SCS’ primary goal has been to raise the awareness of overseas Chinese of their own ancestral roots.
